Baby Birth Print Details

A friend requested baby birth detail prints and so I slowly started designing these prints for new little babies and toddlers rooms. They have really taken of and are super popular, they make beautiful gifts for birthdays, baby arrivals & christmas gifts. Happy 6 Months

Leon at 6months are:
- on the move, I think this might be the last time I post pictures of him not crawling yet
- eats solids but not fussed on it
- sits up by himself....then face plants into the ground forward trying to crawl
- blows raspberries
- says mamma
- sits up
- sings very high pitches songs to me
- loves playing and pulling on Lola's ears
- has flown to Auckland twice (quite the keen traveller)
- had a run in of hand foot and mouth unfortunately but is on the mend
- loves his front pack, although he now is now 8.5kg's and is getting heavier !
- he is still not sold on the carseat but is becoming better friends with the pram
- loves us reading to him
- loves to bath, but hates getting changed

He grows more beautiful, stronger and healthier everyday. He truly is the biggest blessing I could have ever asked for. Love you Leon. xx

Nursery Inspiration

Soooooom I am still up twice a night with little Leon and what I found is while I feed, I find the most inspirational rooms on Instagram. I honestly spend so much time looking at nursery inspiration every night/day. The latest trend is the monochrome obviously but I chose to use yellow & grey for Leon's room. It's quite hard to find things in just yellow or just grey sometimes I have to admit, but I found that if I do try and stick with these colours his room does look really nice in the end. I find Urban Outfitters always good to look at. 

Natural Parenting

After having Leon I have found a new awareness of natural parenting. At our playgroup I found a great magazine I thought a friend of mine would be interested called The Natural Parent. However I ended up reading half of it and found it really awesome. I then started flicking through the back pages and found Made4baby which is natural baby products which I absolutely love! I didn't think much of using general cleaning products for babies to start of with, until I actually had my own baby, and I then discovered how sensitive their skin can be. I am also a big fan of the Little Hearts natural bib & teether set which Leon loves, especially now that he has started to teeth! 

Happy 3 Months

Yesterday we celebrated Leon turning 3 months old which was pretty surreal. I have been waiting for the "3month" mark as apparently things get easier. Maybe it's a mental thing or it's a real fact but I actually agree, it already does seem to be a bit easier. His longest sleep goes for between 5-7 hours at night usually. 

At 3 months Leon:
Makes coo noises
Has a chuckle 
Enjoys tummy time and can hold his neck up very well
Needs to be wrapped to have a proper sleep
Loves his milk
Hardly ever does a poo haha
Smiles all the time
Wants to be held a lot
Looks at Lola chasing her own tail

Handmade Toys

Got to love handmade toys, they seem to have a bit more character.

 Especially the toys from Poosac. I actually find all the toys on there freaking funny!
