Me & Mike had the opportunity to visit Wellington here in New Zealand and looked up a few things to do while staying there. We had so much fun and would like to recommend a few things to see and do: 

1) Ride the cable car
2) Visit the Botanical Gardens 
3) Visit the Dowe Museum 
4) Drink a milkshake at Martha's Pantry 
5) Visit the Weta Workshop and see all the props from Lords of The Rings, 
King Kong and Narnia
6) Drink coffee at Six Barrel Soda Co

Event | Art Deco Weekend in Napier

Last Saturday we attended the Ar Deco Festival in Napier, Hawks Bay, New Zealand. Napier is known as one of the most famous Art Deco hubs in the world.  

It felt like taking a step back in time to a more simpler fancier type of decade. There where old cars, planes and people dancing in the streets. This festival takes place once a year and is a gathering you don't want to miss.

Event: The Classic Hits Winery Tour 2013

New Zealand has awesome musicians and The Classic Hits Winery Tour sure gave us a dose of the very best our country has to offer. The line up boasted such acts as Fat Freddie's Drop, Anika, Boh & Hollie. The Church Road was the perfect venue, and we where lucky enough to have had some pretty awesome weather which made for one heck of a party!

Fat Freddie's Drop really got the crowd going! Not to mention Anike, Boh & Hollie who brought their urban roots with them on this tour. These three sure have a sense of humor and it truly shined in between their soulful performances. 

Mike and I scoffed our guts out on some chips, lollies and beer while dancing amongst the crowd and pretty lights. It was definitely a memorable experience! Make sure not to miss this if it comes your way and get your tickets early.
