Black & Beige

peter pan collar top: H&M    jeans: H&M     hat: H&M    shoes: Call it spring   necklace: That Vintage

When I arrived in Qatar, I only brought a few clothes and realised I left my jeans at back in New Zealand! So my hubby Mike pointed out these pair of jeans from H&M to me and honestly I wished I bought another 50 pair ! They are the most comfortable jeans ever...

Not only did I leave with a pair of jeans, but I bought half of the store! I wish New Zealand had an H&M it's such a good store.

So many dresses

Sorry for the late post today, I had to go into work today, and I slept in lol.... (just being honest here).
While thinking and planning my trip over to South Africa in December, I realized how it hot it's going to be! And a girl can never have to many dresses her in wardrobe, right? So I thought of a few dresses which I found from Warehouse located in the UK.

I am thinking either the red or yellow dress? What are your thoughts?

The loved one

I am so excited to share with you this feminine shop called The loved one with you today which is based in Pasadena.  Elvia Lahman and Hannah Metz,  began The Loved One as a vintage wholesale business.

Demand for its quality vintage and American made lingerie inspired expansion into the world of retail, with an online store and a series of pop-up shops in Los Angeles and New York before settling into their own space in Pasadena.

simple | thoughtful | handcrafted jewelry

Isn't this the cutest range of necklaces ever. This little fortune cookie necklace is adorable. I have already highlighted it as a new favourite on my etsy finds. There are a big range of beautiful pieces of jewellery in this little store. All pieces are handcrafted and made out of silver or 18k gold. So if you need to start making your wishlist for Christmas, make sure you take note of this etsy store.

Less is more

I'm a firm believer in less is more. There is something about the simplicity of these images and sometimes I believe it's the simplicity in photo's, art, craft and any form of art that makes people yearn for a simple life.

Sometimes I wish we lived in simpler times and  eat dinner together as families and not in front of the TV, live in a connected community and not running around from A - B because our iPhone said so.  And yes I am guilty of all the above because society have pushed us into these lifestyles.

And I guess there are pro's and con's to it. The thought of it all just leaves me wonder what life would be like. That's probably why I am so drawn to Lui's amazing photographer.Unfortunately I couldn't get much from her Russian website, but I do know that her occupation is being a lawyer (administrative law) and that she is based in Tbilisi, Georegia.

Kendi Everyday

Kendi Everyday is a cute blog about a girl who got married and moved to a small town - and instead of getting pregnant... she started a blog. I really enjoy her outfit posts. They are very inspirational and oh so colourfull.

While me and my husband are babysitting and houssitting a friends house, we have been enjoying the outdoors and watched Avatar with the kids which have been rather fun. It's fun watching kiddie movies again - it reminds me of my childhood with blankets and popcorn!

Fall in love

 FALL IN LOVE

Thanks to Le Frufru blog, I am inspired by the amazing party styling, crafts and all design work that's been done for this stunning wedding ! It's beautiful and oh so tasteful. Secretly I wish I was a party stylist. That might explain why I usually spend my money on little paper gadgets and straws lol.

Paris: Fashion Week

I don't think you have lived until you have been to Paris Fashion Week. And I intend to go one day soon! Living in Qatar at the moment it's only a 6 hour flight which makes it even more tempting! It's something I have to do on my bucket list!

For the moment I am really excited to attend the Qatar Fashion Week here in Doha. It will be Qatar's first fashion week which makes it even more exciting! I also look forward to catching up with Carla Mallari from Nomad* blog. Nomad*blog is set on a mission to inject more Fashion knowledge in Doha.

Oh Orange!

Leopard Ring: Diva   Shoes: Call it spring    Burned orange skirt: H&M    Top: Valleygirl

There is nothing better than a new pair of shoes! I desperately needed some new shoes, as I have left so many other bits and pieces behind in New Zealand. Thanks for Call it Spring for providing such a good range of pretties to choose form.

We are also on our way to a desert safari, where we will be able to ride camels, do a bit of dune bashing, and swim in the see. I promise to take loads of pictures!
Be blessed!

DIY Headband

The beauty department blog is filled with amazing DIY tutorials. This headband tutorial is definatly one of my favourites. With having really short hair now I need some new headbands to spice up my "look" as it can get rather boring just styling it to one side with my pixie haircut.

On another note, I am also going to South Africa for a month from the 7th Dec - 5th of Jan which is something I am really looking forward too. I will be able to show my husband where I grew up. He has never been to South Africa himself, coming from New Zealand, so this should be a real adventure for the both of us. Fingers crossed that we will be able to do a Safari!

True Love

Top: Valleygirl      Skirt: Glassons     Hat: H&M      Necklace: Diva

Oh how I love Instagram {feel free to follow me on Instagram under Polli blog}!I am totally in love with my cat called Frankie, he is the cutest thing alive, honestly he just flops into your lap. I don't think I have ever had such a cuddly cat.

I got home one day and Mike said he had a surprise for me, and little did I know it was going to be a cat. With living in Doha and traveling around it wasn't going to be a good idea so we decided not to get any animals. However, we missed out cats in New Zealand so much we couldn't resist! And yes I named him after my favourite magazine called Frankie.
