On the rooftop of our apartment is where you can see some the city layout. It's an amazing view & it's here where I dream of all our travels. My biggest desire is to go to France. So to make this dream a little more of a reality I got a box of macarons from Paul Maison De Qualité Fondée en 1889. I found this cute little box of bliss in Landmark Mall in Doha, Qatar.

On another exciting note, Qatar Fashion Week is coming up sometime soon & it will be Qatar's first fashion week in the history of Qatar. I am really looking forward to it! I have been stalking the facebook page for a while now. To check it out yourself click here.

It's super hot here in Doha and I believe it's a place where summer lasts all year long! Me & Mike and a few other new friends took a taxi to The Corniche which is a walkway along the beach side.

It was amazing just to soak up a bit of green grass and the city lights. So far I enjoy living in Doha, Qatar. There are many new things to still discover but for now The Corniche is my favourite spot!

DIY: Fancy Popcorn

One thing that I am craving here in Doha is Kettle Corn flavored popcorn. Luckily Design Love Fest was able to hook me up with an amazzzing rosemary infused olive oil, dark chocolate & salt tutorial. Not only is it something I have never tried but definitely something I want to go and try out in my kitchen as we speak.

Enjoying the Souq Waqif in Doha, Qatar | Travel

Me & Mike visited The Souq Waqif in Doha, Qatar which is a night market. And believe me it's so big that you can't even walk through it all on one night.It's filled with neat places to eat, fashion, perfume, nuts, seeds, animals.... pretty much anything you can think of!

I bought some arabic sweets which was amazing. They really do love their pistachio chocolates over here I have to say.  To read a good review via Lonely Planet click here.

We are also making lots of new friends which is fantastic, especially when you have just moved from a different country. We are finding the people to be very friendly and lovely. We have learned a little bit of Arabic which has helped us through our bargaining which is always a good thing.

Hi all! It's nice to be back after our 24 flight from New Zealand. We have been here 5 days already and we are trying to get our bodies adjusted to the time difference. We arrived safe and sound at Doha's International airport.

Our first adventure was visiting the Villagio Mall in Doha, Qatar. The theme as you can see is from Venice. This mall has a stream running right through the mall, where you can get into a Gondola and drift along the water pass shops. It is truly a fantasy land.

Hello everyone, it's Amanda from Here Comes the Sun dropping by today. As you would all be aware by now Sone and her husband have made the move to Dohar, Qatar! On My Bookcase

Hello! My name is Micaela and I run The Drifter and the Gypsy blog. I blog about fashion, photography, and life. Today, I'm sharing what's on my bookcase. My bookcase is definitely my favorite part of my room. I display vintage knick knacks, books, and other random thrift store finds. In the corner of the bookcase, I keep letters friends and family have written to me over the past few years. Some of the stuff on display was gifted to me when I was very young.
