This weekend we will be having our own stall at the Fruit Bowl Craft Jam so I designed a few more prints to add to the shop. Two of these three monochrome prints will be available at the market, however all the prints that's on our Facebook page has been loaded onto our shop.

Sneak Peak | Nursery Decor Prints & Graphic Design

Since I have started designing prints I realised that I would need a website to showcase them all and to make it easy for customers to buy from. So I thought I would share a sneak peek of what I have been up to for the last month. It's pretty hard looking after a moving baby and design at the same time, so I just used his nap times to work in between the breaks and night times when he has gone to bed.

Baby Birth Print Details

A friend requested baby birth detail prints and so I slowly started designing these prints for new little babies and toddlers rooms. They have really taken of and are super popular, they make beautiful gifts for birthdays, baby arrivals & christmas gifts. Scandinavian Prints | Polli Prints

At last me and mike made some time to put up our first shelf & frames. We sat till 11 at night to finish the prints and finally got them printed on Sunday. I was burning to see them up on the wall and thought I would share my new prints I designed with you. I took a few snaps of our lounge currently. I am trying to bring in the monochrome theme as much as possible with what we have got by making the cushions and prints. 

* If you are interested in purchasing a print they are $30 for an A4, and if you have a paypal account you can get them on here. I only post within NZ at the moment, but I am happy to work something out for you if you would like a print. I can also custom make the letter you want in that pattern.

The Clueless Girl's Guide

Ever heard www.thecluelessgirl.com ? I am totally in love with this girls blog and her illustrations on these pieces of wood. I found Kaelah on Instagram & she is definitely on my daily reads lately. I find her work inspiring. She is also a graphic designer like myself and has a little family and another baby on the way by the looks of things. She lives in Tennessee with her two bulldogs which I absolutely adore!

Miles of Light is an online Etsy store selling beautiful botanical and floral prints. All prints are done with such simplicity and taste.

Yes, I am a confessed paper and stationery lover. All things pastel, with polkadots, birds and pretty stripes has my name written all over it. 

Like most graphic designers, we stop and drool over shops like WholePort & Kikki.K. It's a natural instinct that kicks in and it's like you switch onto robot mode: " must touch this stamp set"," pick up envelopes", "stair at folded paper in pretty packet for 20 minutes".It literally takes me an hour and a half to actually even order something from WholePort let alone visit a stationary shop. Awh the joys of being a self confessed paper stationary lover.

Being a graphic designer as well as a blogger I wanted to share a few favorite fonts I love to use. I know most of us are always on the hunt for free fonts we can use. So all you have to do is type in the number 0.00 in the amount box when you download and it will automatically start downloading. Happy downloading everyone!

Make Your Own Book By Blurb

After loosing some photos on my computer, I wanted to get books made instead of keeping my photos on my laptop. If I was to loose all the photos of all our traveling I think I would walk around with a big broken heart for the rest of my life.

I researched a few online book stores and tried out Blurb. I spend $40 US for to get a coffee table book of our trip in Italy and it looks like a book I bought it from a store. My next investment will be to print a few more of our trip in France, Spain, Greece, South Africa, Dubai & Qatar...

In the near future I would definitely consider having my very own blog book from Blurb. They really encourage bloggers to get their own books out there which I think is such a great idea..
