My Illustrations

While being on holiday I have been so inspired to just keep my drawings up. It's like I just can't stop drawing them. I originally started doing this for my graphic design portfolio. But it's gone ahead of me now. Let me know which one you like best ?

So my creative blogger friends. I haven't been so good with my updates but here is some

eye-candy to make up for not updating so often as I have been on holiday for a wee while. Yes you are right it's summer on this side of the world and there is nothing else to do on a wee little island but to head to the beach! I will return on Tuesday with a fresh mindset and new ideas! And a happily New Year!

I spend my day with my parents-in-law and my hubby, snorkeling and finding new adventures in the see! I am quite excited to see what the new year will hold in for everybody. I'd like to come back to this post and laugh!

In my spirit I am aware of a change! I am expecting some change to happen this year! This year I really want to focus on my

graphic design skills, and excell in that!

I believe God has many blessings in store for each and everybody this year.

Highlights of 2009

* my first wedding anniversary

*my sister got married

*i went windsurfing for the first time

*me and mike setup our our little humble abode

*saw Kings of Leon

*had a Christmas with my family and mikes family for the first time

*started on allot of art & graphic projects

*ate red currents for the first time

*parachute festival

...... gosh it takes time to think it all through

House of Aroha

While on holiday in Hawks Bay and wondering the streets of Napier, I tracked down an amazing little store called House of Aroha/Aroha Lamour ! They take their own poto's in the store, and have a range of designers goodies that you can drool over! Honestly if you ever stop in Napier, make sure you go into this store! Through browsing in store I also found a new NZ artist, Kelly Tompson! Our own kiwi artist! She does faboules work!

Tomorow me and my hubby booked a lesson on how to windsurf! I am most defnatly looking forward to it, but not the lonesome trip back to Hamilton to go to work though! Gosh I hav't even booked my ticket back, I am not looking forward to getting on a bus for 5 hours! eeeek!

I love finding graphic design bits and pieces. On etsy you can find the wild and wonderfull vinyl for your house/room and stick it on almost anything and it just creates an entire different atmosphere! For more infor check out the WowWall on etsy

My 1 year wedding anniversary

1 Year anniversary

On the 20th of Decemeber 2008 Sone van Zyl & Mike Moriarty chose to

spend the rest of their lives together.

We celebrated our 1 year anniversary by Mike blind folding

me and kidnapping me to some far away place.

He told me we where going to a camping ground, instead we arrived at a Lodge Spa, where he booked us both a full body massage, and I got treated for a facial ! My first one ever! :) I was soo amazed, after that we jumped into the hot spa and got a couple of dvd's and sat in our beautiful room, where we got poured champaign.

Dinner was served and we where AWH- struck at the view, candle light, service and the most delicious food! We had to have another spa after dinner and left for a good nights rest. Waking up to a full cooked breaky and coffee in bed was just a reminder of our Honeymoon night. I feel like the most luckiest girl alive.

Wow so Christmas is actually just around the

corner! (PHEW) and you can feel it in retail! :)

In the meantime to keep my creative juices going I have

started my own Flickr and have scanned in my own Illustrations

in! I'd love to hear what your comments on them are, and

This is only the start of my New Year's revolution!

I am to do all things that I love and put it out there!

I just went and saw Where the Wild things are with Amanda from Here Comes the Sun and our hubbies and though it was great! :) I'l definitely recommend it!
