My very own double page spread in Abode Magazine. I chose some of my favourite online stores and had the privileges of featuring them in my double page spread



My husband also got to feature as one of the models in the photoshoot which was loads of fun! He features on the far left on the above image. And he is the one sitting down in the bottom image. Well done babe, so proud of you!



I am looking forward to working on my next double page spread in Abode for next month!

Things to do in Doha, Qatar:

1) Must visit the Red Velvet Cupcakery in Doha, Qatar at Katara!

Me & Nerine enjoyed an evening in Doha by walking the streets of Katara, and discovered The Velvet Cupcakery! It was amazing - we couldn't resist but to have one of their mouth watering buttercream iced cupcakes. Although it was QAR18 per cupcake, it was well worth it.  Even the seats where designed as cupcakes to sit on. And from a graphic design point of view, the packaging, layouts where so well done.

My next visit would like to be a tea party for a couple of friends of mine. I think I might have found my favourite shop in Doha.

This month on my Istagram I took a quick picture to share with you all that me and my husband is featuring in Abode Magazine here in Qatar. He is the model on the far left. I am so proud of him ! I promise the next pictures I will be sharing will be my feature in the magazine! So exciting :)



Aero is my favourite chocolate and I found them here in Qatar and there where three different flavours to choose from which was amazing. And the pictures of The Beatles is for Amanda of course.

Outfit Flash Back

I wanted to share with you a flashback of my outfit posts. It's funny how your taste change in one year.
And my hair of course. I think I look totally different with short hair.

Oh and sorry for the late post, I was awake till 1am this morning playing around with some settings on my blog, and as you can notice in my top header there is a link tab called Design Portfolio. This part of my blog is under construction as I am still working on it. So I think I might just have a few more late nights to finish up that project.

Polli loves tea

I love tea and I have been trying out different teas lately which have been nice. My favorite tea at the moment is rooibos and this french rose with vanilla is super amazing ! I honestly drink like 4 cups a day. What tea is your favourite?

Sweet Dreams

Natasha is a lawyer and and one amazing photographer. It's her soft and fragile theme to her photography that makes me want to tuck myself into a little blanket and watch the rain outside, or just gaze at leaves dropping from a tree.

I find myself always daydreaming and gazing at the sky, I get told of allot for doing this. As creepy as it sounds I like to watch people and make up stories of their lives. I wonder what their life is like, what languages they speak and where they where born. I just find people rather interesting in general, everybody is so different but yet the same. I just thought I would share this random little thought with all of you today.

Intercontinental Hotel

My date day with my husband was amazing. We got gifted tickets from a couple from church to access the beach and pool at the Intercontinental Hotel in Doha. It was such a beautiful experience to be able to see Doha's beach for the first time and just spend the entire day in the pool.

However when we got into the water at the beach it was like stepping into a warm bath lol (I do from time to time forget that we are living in the dessert). So I am looking forward to December when it's much cooler here in Doha.

A Merry Mishap

Loving A Merry Mishap has her own Etsy store called AMM where she sells stunning handmade jewellery. Her shop is filled with colorful clusters of chunky beads and long slinky chains, rings and earrings.

Me and my hubby also had a fantastic date day yesterday. We got gifted tickets to go to the Intercontinental Hotel in Doha where we spend the entire day swimming, eating and lazying about. It was amazing!

Lexpress

Loving the fresh street fashion from an amazing website called Lexpress. It's a blog dedicated to fashion streetstyle from London & Paris. I had to share this when I saw the cat shoes, it made me laugh and also made me want to have it because it's so unique. The website is all in French but you can just hit the translator button. Today me and my hubby will be on a date day, and will be taking loads of pictures of the beach here in Doha which we havn't been too yet at all, so it will be a bit of an adventure. I will keep you all posted.

Brights & Passion Juice

PASSION JUICE

Shopping List

• Granadillas
• Orange Juice
• Passion Power Liqui Fruit Juice
• Mint

1. Mix together the pulp of 5 granadillas, half a litre of orange juice and half a litre of Passion Power Liqui Fruit Juice.

2. Add mint and serve in a long glass with plenty of ice and a straw.

Wildfox Couture 2011 Fall Winter Collection

Sorry for my absence for yesterday, I had to be out and catch a taxi 6:30 in the morning which ment I had nooo time to follow my usual routine in the morning. So my lovely bloggers I had a good researching session to make up for yesterday. I have also been told by the french visual merchandiser at Zara in Paris that Paris Fashion week is on this week. So feel free to share some french fashion love.

It was only fair that I share Wildfox Couture with you today because Wildfox is one of my favorite brands. Looks like bright oranges, mustard yellow and polkadots are something to look out for this season.

Wow the debut collection by Ulyana Sergeenko is insane! It's like vintage and red riding hood collided.
I had a look through the latest lookbook and I had a jaw drop moment. The shoes......the dresses = WOW! Next on my shopping list would be red heels.

Tea party

Anna Collins, the pastor of our church back in New Zealand recently had a tea party for her daughter Libby's Birthday. I was so impressed by her creativity I couldn't resist but to post about it. She handmade a teapot cake ! You have to be pretty brilliant to be able to that. I would love to give it a go sometime. Thanks Anna for inspiring me. It looks like it was a feast!
