Current colors for interiors

More tranquil shades, such as grayed dark blue, worn dark navy and grayed pale blue, are favored by individuals who wish to recreate a sanctuary in their homes. Finally, anyone looking to brighten their interiors can choose from a range of ‘hot’ colors, such as vibrant orange, blood red and deep red, to bring instant warmth and excitement to a room.

Beds with storage are another option and the latest models come in fun and exciting designs. Antiques are another tried and tested trend, especially when paired with modern furniture. Pieces range from coffee tables and armchairs, to dining tables and sideboards. Finally, there are accent chairs, which are quite reasonably priced and add real character to a room. There are a range of bright and dramatic colors and patterns to choose from for greater impact.

Types of flooring and window coverings

There are numerous types of flooring available, including hardwood, which is elegant and durable; oak, maple and pine are currently in favor. Marble tiles are another option for floors that are both durable and versatile; they are also very easy to clean and maintain. A more economical flooring option is laminate, which is strong, durable and easy to maintain.
